Ok, ok, don't panic! I know how us beauty junkie's can get around the words 'limited edition'...
Anastasia Beverly Hills, the brand that brought us the brilliant Brow Wiz, has released a collection of highlighters that are available on Cult Beauty for a limited time. So let me tell you about the one I've got and then you can decide whether to rush to the site to get yours or whether to sit back and let the hype pass.
There are four shades in the range, Peach Nectar, Riviera (rose gold), So HollyWood (gold) and Starlight (white gold). All four highlighters are powder with a slight art-deco embossing that's completely beautiful. I chose So Hollywood as I do love a gold highlight and I thought it would be good to compare with Becca's Champagne Pop. One thing I would point out is on the website it looks like it's two toned but in real life it's all just one tone.
I love the fact that the highlight, once on the skin, is actually really noticeable. Sometimes I find highlighters to look great in the pan but hardly show on the skin so this definitely doesn't have that problem. It's gorgeous and glowy and the perfect golden shade. I do find it to be a bit more glittery than Champagne Pop which is more smooth. The texture of So Hollywood is still buttery though and applies nicely onto the cheekbones. The shade is really wearable, so much so that I definitely think it would also work as an eyeshadow.
The highlighters are £28 each and as I said, they won't be there for long! So what do you think? Which shade do you like the look of? Will you be rushing to pick one up?
