BATTLE OF THE BROWS ROUND 2: BROW WIZ VS ARCHERY

Usually when I write comparison posts it's simple and one product always stands out over the other, but this time it's different. I've been picking these products apart to try and find the difference but they are remarkably similar!

The products in question are the Anastasia Brow Wiz and the Soap & Glory Archery 2-in-1 brow filling pencil and brush. After this post I realised that I had fully been converted to the Brow Wiz and put down my Hourglass brow pencil after months of using it.

I'd wanted to try the Soap & Glory version for a while but it's incredibly hard to get hold of and alway seems to be sold out. I finally found one in my local Boots and even on first impressions I was baffled by it's similarity to the Brow Wiz.

I've now been using both for weeks, maybe even a month and thanks to these twins I've been super happy with my brows. I call them twins because they really are. The packaging is identical with a small brush on one end and a temperamental twisty pencil on the other (ironically the more expensive one broke first for me!). There's absolutely no difference in packaging, both are equally handy, thin and easy to use.

In terms of formula I find them to be very similar too! They both have a very solid, waxy formula that with little strokes looks very natural. If I had to be really picky I'd say the Soap & Glory one is slightly more likely to smudge but depending on how heavy you fill in your brows, it's unnoticeable.

So really the only difference here is shade options and price. The Anastasia Brow Wiz is £15.50 and the Soap & Glory Archery is £8, so around half the price. Anastasia specialises in brows though, so there are 12 shades available all catered to different skin and hair tones. This table on Cult Beauty makes it really easy to pick a shade and there's no denying it if it's the perfect shade you're after, get the Brow Wiz. The Soap & Glory Archery only comes in two shades and the brunette shade 'Hot Chocolate' is pretty warm toned. I can get away with it as I don't have much to fill in, but if you really need to draw in your brows, go for the Brow Wiz.

I hope this comparison has been helpful and let me know which one you prefer?
