I was hoping for this to be a rave review about one of my favourite brands bringing out brand new amazing lip glosses... Unfortunately that's not the case.
I love Fresh as a brand. My mum and I have been using their products for years, especially the lip balms and scrub. I recently spotted the Sugar Lip Treatments on the Sephora website and my heart skipped a beat. I was imagining a balmy lip gloss in beautiful wearable shades.
The packaging of these is spot on and really good quality. I also like the scent as it's just like their lip balms, fresh and zesty. The problem I found with these was the formula, which is really the most important part. The formula is very sheer and balmy which makes it really hard to apply without it looking streaky. Because it is so sheer, it dulls down the shades and they all become a bit beige and unflattering.
I also found them to be really sticky on the lips and quite irritating to keep on. It's such a shame as I was excited for this launch, but I can't love everything!
I'd still recommend checking out the Fresh Lip Balms as they really are the best!
