Wednesday was a busy day out, here there and everywhere. I thought I'd show you the makeup I wore as it's been a little while since a WOMF has appeared on here...
I started by testing out a new primer, the Illamasqua Matt Viel. Their Hydra Veil was a big launch for them and now they've brought out a similar product but with a slight mattifying finish. I like the water based formula, it felt refreshing on the skin but I'm still unsure of how it left my makeup towards the end of the day. The testing continues...
For my base I used my current NARS loves, Sheer Glow and their Radiant Creamy Concealers (with a bit of Bobbi Brown corrector layered underneath for extra dark circle removal). To smooth things over and set it in place for a long day, I used the MAC Mineralised Skin Finish Natural in Light Plus. For bronzer I used one of my all-time favourites by Soap & Glory and for a pop of colour, the Revlon blush in 'Racy Rose'.
For my eyes I used a pretty combination that I discovered thanks to Tanya Burr. Remember this video of hers? I was blown away by her makeup look and when I asked what she used, she told me By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Misty Rock and MAC Haux eyeshadow in the crease. Of course I had to pick them both up and I'm so glad I did, it's a beautiful combination! Layered on top I used Urban Decay's Hustle eyeliner and Maybelline The Rocket mascara.
To finish the look I filled in my brows slightly using the Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencil and set them with the Blink Clear Brow Gel. I then applied Clinique's Chubby Stick Intense in Grandest Grape, a beautiful deep plum shade.
