Did I mention that I went to the Brits? I know, I know, shut up about it already but after today I will, I promise. I wanted to show you the nails I went for in the end and although matching your nails to your dress is probably very uncool, I went for it and I liked the results!
Deborah Lippmann 'Lady Sings The Blues'is a really deep, dark blue with different sized silver and blue glitters inside. Some of the glitters are really large and hexagon shaped which I much prefer than a normal glitter with lots of small bits. I think it's a classy take on glitter and because it's quite subtle, from far away the polish just looks navy blue.
My dress was a very similar shade so I think it worked well and it's something chic but glitzy for a special event.
